FAQ
Here are some frequently asked questions (FAQ) that we get from time to time. If you'd like to ask us something, let us know!
What is Pista?
Pista is a (super)fan built website that we wished existed for Padel but didn't at the time. It started as a way to answer questions about Padel, without having to navigate and go through different apps to answer them. Folks started requesting features and I started to build them. Word of mouth picked up and now we have about 100 or so unique users a month (at the time of this writing), half of them coming from Spain, that consistently access Pista on a daily basis.

This article from RedBull explains it better than we can.
Who uses Pista?
To our surprise, it's a fairly diverse crowd. Here are a few personas we have identified that use Pista along with some (not all) of their usecases. Folks usually use Pista for a couple of features and will continue to do so as we build more:
- - Superfans: folks that know all of the professional tours around and know the top 20 by heart. These are Padel junkies and we have quite a few of them.
- - Semi Pros: folks in the business (coaching/training for lower level competition) that are playing tournaments in Spain and use Pista for tournament scheduling purposes.
- - Brand new to Padel: Folks that somehow got the link to Pista and are starting out to play. They are mostly interested in current Livestreams.
- - Pros: we know of a high level pro (a mutual friend) that uses Pista for Tournament scheduling. It's important to know when FIPs overlap with Premier Padel tournaments, for example. If you were to sign up for these tournaments, the direct links we provide saves a lot of time. Then, once tournaments are being played they watch the livestreams. The fact this is used by these folks is super gratifying, an unforeseen usage for sure.
Should you become a partner/sponsor?
Padel is one of the fastest growing sports in the US, and the timing to reach this audience couldn’t be better. Our audience is made up of padel players, club owners, fans, and even some pros who check in regularly to stay in the loop. Folks passionate about the sport and likely to build/use/invest in padel facilities and everything else that goes with it (apparel, gear, etc). Contact us
Who is "we"?
My wife and I build Pista for fun. When I say we, it's not just one or two people building it. Folks ask us for features, they provide feedback. It takes a village. If you are interested in this kind of work (custom software/consulting), feel free to shoot us a note

How do I register and log in?
Pista operates on referrals only. We may put certain pages behind a login as the app continues to grow. For the moment, you don't need a to be registered but at some point this may change.
